Michelle is a Certified Medical Exercise and Yoga Specialist dedicated to helping individuals achieve their wellness goals through a holistic approach. With over 20 years of experience in the exercise and wellness industry, Michelle's diverse yet specialized education allows her to assess, analyze, plan, and implement programs tailored to each individual's needs. She holds degrees in Exercise Science and Teaching and has completed her 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification and her 200-hour Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher Training Certification.
Michelle's journey in the exercise and wellness industry began with her strong foundation in Exercise Science. Along the way, she discovered yoga, which led her to adopt a more diverse and holistic approach to wellness, especially after experiencing a traumatic loss herself. Her goal is to support individuals in their healing process, whether from grief, loss, trauma, or physical injury or chronic conditions.
Grief & Trauma-Informed Yoga Specialist As a Grief Coach and Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher, Michelle facilitates healing through breath work, movement, and meditation. She helps rebalance and regulate the nervous system, improve mental function and awareness, and reconnect the mind and body in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
Functional Fitness As a Medical Exercise Specialist, Michelle works to improve and restore balance, mobility, strength, and flexibility, making daily living easier as clients navigate life's challenges. She also assists individuals in managing orthopedic, metabolic, and chronic conditions and provides personalized care for post-rehab individuals who need support before transitioning to independent exercise.
Nutrition & Holistic Training Michelle utilizes a nutrition program developed by NASA to help the body perform optimally by ensuring proper nutrient intake. Combined with her holistic approach to exercise, this program can significantly improve overall health and well-being.
